Life, love, good food, beautiful landscapes and wonderful cultures are all around us. The fascination with experiencing all these has led me to embrace and write about my experience in the form of books which contain history, traditional, current and future recipes, cultures and landscape.
Whether you are traveling to the local market or a far away destination, the experience is only as grand as you make it. Not only do one’s taste buds change when eating various foods from different regions but the mind transforms when one travels to those regions. There are many things a person learns about themselves when traveling; self –reliance, emotions, responsibility, patterns, reactions and independence.
I am reminded of the Oliver Twist musical when I walk into an open aired market.
“Food, glorious food!
Hot sausage and mustard!
While we’re in the mood —
Cold jelly and custard!
Food, glorious food!
We’re anxious to try it.
Three banquets a day —
Our favorite diet!”
